METSTRADE 2025: in Amsterdam Model Maker Group presents nautical models ranging from innovation and sustainability
Model Maker Group attended the 2025 Metstrade, held in Amsterdam from the 18th till the 20th of November, with some original features, a brand-new stand and three fine scale models, for a new contemporary look and feel.
The MMG stand was finely furnished with Paola Lenti’s pieces. An incredible “mini chair” inspired by the Sabrina collection, designed by Espen Oeino was given to visitors as a token of appreciation.
A model of D&O Houseboat was displayed, this work of art developed by Studio Piet Boon showcases MMG growing capability to create models with illumination as well as intricate and detailed interior furniture.
A reproduction of a historic Feadship yacht was also brought to the fair to be admired. Requested by a private owner, the model was created using mainly photos provided by the client, now it represents a family’s heritage while featuring MMG meticulous accuracy in the production of exact replicas.
For the very first time, MMG presented Lily, a model made for 70% out of recycled materials, showing the Company approach on sustainability. The model designed by Vripack Design Studio for Oceanco is the perfect example of superb craftsmanship and low environmental impact.
On opening night, CEO Elisabetta Fantasia with COO Giuseppe Capobianco hosted a laidback and friendly aperitif to welcome the many visitors that came to enjoy MMG work, the turnout was impressive. An important event that facilitated forming new relationships and helped solidifying old ones, it was truly a night to remember.
